Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about OfferLift's mentorship and placement process.
How much does it cost for employers?
We charge a contingency fee of 15% of the candidate's first-year base salary. You only pay if you successfully hire a candidate through OfferLift. There are no retainer fees or upfront costs to view our talent pool.
Do candidates pay a placement fee?
No. Candidates never pay a placement fee or give up a percentage of their salary. The placement fee is strictly employer-paid.
What services do you offer candidates?
We offer fixed-fee a la carte services designed to make you the most compelling candidate possible. This includes Resume Refresh, LinkedIn Makeovers, Career Brand Sprints, and intensive Interview Prep (including system design for technical roles).
Does paying for candidate services guarantee a job?
No. While our services significantly improve your professional branding and interview skills, and give you access to our employer network, they do not guarantee employment. Your success ultimately depends on your performance in the employer's interviews.
How do I become a mentor?
Experienced professionals can apply through our mentor intake form. We review all applications to ensure a high quality bar for our candidates. You should have significant experience (Senior, Staff, Manager+) at reputable tech companies.
